If you have a real Newton and cant get the rom file to dump to your computer i can help:

  1. register on this site
  2. take a picture of your Newtons screen with the email address you registered with here written on the screen in Notepad
  3. send me the picture using the "Support" menu option and i will add you to the list of people who can download the 717006.rom file
  4. follow the instructions in the PDF file on this site to see how to load the rom image in  Einstein

I no longer have any Macs old enough even to look at my source code for the EnRoute email client that I wrote for Apple. I'm glad you're able to help with this!

I no longer have a Mac and so I'm trying to get Einstein working on Linux to no avail...anyone have any instructions for Linux noobs? I can't run the shell script from the terminal Alternatively, I'd take an .ipa iPad app to sideload!
